Do frogs really need to sit on logs? One little green frog doesn’t like to because he gets splinters. According to Cat frogs sit on logs, mules sit on stools, puffins sit on muffins and snakes sit on cakes. Frog is very curious as to what Cat will say when he asks about the comfort for animals sitting on these various assigned stations. According to Cat every critter has a specific place to sit and it’s not about comfort but about all these different animals doing the right thing. You might wonder if there is anything that sits on frogs, perhaps dogs.

Parents, teachers and children will love this hilarious rhyming tale. Readers will giggle as they turn the pages and discover all of the interesting animals presented. Colorful and cartoony illustrations depict the sense of humor. The facial expressions of the animals alone will make any reader smile. Easy to read words make this a great starter story for any young beginner. Preschool teachers and storytime librarians will especially love this little gem.
