Sir Roderick is training to become a knight. At first his assignments are very spectacular, he was assigned to clean the pigeon poo from the side of the castle wall at Doddingford Castle where he stays. He also had to wash all of the flags around the castle too. He discovered that learning to use a sword wasn’t as easy as other knights made it look. Needless to say, becoming a knight doesn’t seem to be as glamourous as Sir Roderick had thought.
