Review:
Izzy is a nine-year-old spirited
young girl. She dreams of playing the guitar and stops at nothing to remind her
parents, who’ve promised, to buy her one. The only problem is, her parents are
always busy at work and forget about picking her after school often. Today was
the final sale day at the store. Izzy is excited and getting through the school
day was the longest day ever. Her friend, Ray the janitor, has been teaching
her how to play the guitar and is excited she will be getting one of her very
own. Unfortunately for Izzy, there are a few obstacles in the way. Her parents
forgot her again, a big snow storm has hit the town earlier than expected and
thieves have robbed the Salvation Army of their Christmas money for the poor, and
they are looking for a hideout.
Alone in the school, Izzy
shows no signs of fear. Her parents frantically try to get to her but have
their own obstacles, and so they reach out to Ray for help. When he arrived at
the school, he was captured by the Christmas crooks. It’s up to Izzy to save
her friend, by using some unconventional methods, and figure out a way to
fumble the crooks plan and free her friend. When it’s all over will Izzy
finally get her dream guitar?
In times of crisis, family
and friends is all you will need. This hilarious twist on a film similar to
Home Alone, where a young girl has to defeat the bad guys using her own clever
skills, will have kids giggling. Perfect for the holiday family movie time,
parents and kids will enjoy watching and seeing some familiar faces.
