Lucas wanted a wonderful
friend, so he set out to find one. He started at the beach and couldn’t
consider any person there. He visited a nearby office only to discover that the
workers were too busy. Lucas went to a rock concert, a pet shop, a circus, and
even stood in the middle of a traffic jam, but he had no luck finding a friend.
He contined to search but will Lucas finally find a friend?
Young readers will love
this look and find book. As the main character searches for a friend at various
places, readers are asked to look for specific items and people in the chaotic
scenes presented on the pages that are busy, colorful and fun. There are plenty
of of things kids can find as a game with their friends. The back pages have
pictures of the answers to the books seek and find questions. Parents and
teachers can make this a fun book for down time in the classroom, it’s perfect
for travel and it’s great for a beginner reader.
