an explorer spy working to get close to Cruz to get his holo journal to find
the pieces. Their mission is to kill Cruz before his 13th birthday
and also illuminate Malcom Root, the Academy librarian for failing to kill Cruz
in book one. In the meantime, Cruz and his friends are still students and are
engaged in various learning missions and so much more.
