Review:

The animals in the jungle often found lots of cool stuff and some not so cool stuff from the tourists that traveled there. Chameleon found a roll of toilet paper, but Monkey was lucky enough to find a very cool camera. Once he got the hang of it, he gathered the animals around to take photos.  The only problem was that Chameleon became so obsessed with taking pictures that he appeared in all of them. He ruined the pictures of the Capybara’s, a party at the Macaw’s and even Jaguar’s. Chameleon was out of control. The animals retaliated with fresh fruit. When a group of tourists came along, Chameleon had a picture-perfect idea. What do you think it was?

This hilarious story introduces young readers to some of the animals that live in the jungle. Vibrant illustrations bring the jungle and its inhabitants to life, especially the chameleon. Simple sentences make this a great first read for beginners. Parents, teachers and caregivers can discuss what other types of animals live in the jungle and they can even recreate their favorite characters out of construction paper.
