Review:
Is your kid a nerd and doesn’t like to admit it? National Geographic Kids has the perfect guide just for them. This cool book has tons of information and its not all about animals. There is stuff here your kid may know but will learn a little bit more. If your kids don’t know they will quickly learn with these pages filled with interesting little snippets and amazing photos.
In the section covering Freaky Flyers kids will see and learn about flying snakes, squirrels, bats and birds. There is a fun Unicorn section which shares wonderful photos of animals that have a very special horn similar to the imaginary unicorn. There is a horned rhinoceros, a unicorn fish, a helmeted curassow and an artic whale called a narwhal. Some bizarre looking creatures are found here as well, like the hairy frog found in Africa. It even has claws.
National Geographic always
has strange, bizarre, and beautiful creatures to share. Parents and teachers
can spend time with kids and learn right along with them. Fantastic photos always
show these creatures in their natural habits which makes reading and learning
so much fun.
