Review:
Baby Princess is going shopping with her mother. She was sure to bring her favorite doll along. There were people browsing and she was too. She spotted an unusual doll smiling at her. The doll didn’t speak but pointed and Baby Princess followed her. This unusual doll tricked her and tried to take her favorite doll away. A scuffle ensued and her doll was lost in a bag of other dolls. Do you think Baby Princess got her doll back? You’ll have to read the story to see the cliffhanger.
Author
and illustrator McManus does a wonderful job of creating and inviting and
colorful story perfect for young readers. Her illustrations are artful and depict
the community in an African village. Parents and teachers can use this as a
tool to teach young readers about African culture and maybe some magic.
