Review:

The Galen Elementary class was on its way to Camp Discovery. They were excited not to be bothered with parents, homework, or chores. Serena, Caleb, Iona, and Dominic were looking forward to what was in store for them. Right away they participated in cool activities and later the students sat by a campfire and listened to a story of how birds ruled the four corners of the continent Aviara.

The birds of Aviara were eagles, parrots, doves, and owls. The humans that occupied those lands watched the birds and began to understand how they managed their territory. The land of the eagles displayed power and confidence. The land of the parrots was festive and social. The land of the doves represented peace and harmony. The land of the owls was structured with precise deep thinkers. There were also a small group of chameleons that adopted themselves to the ways of all four bird lands.

Dominic chose the eagles, Serena the doves, Caleb the owls and Iona the parrots. As the children learned more about the bird kingdom, they began to take on those traits and could also recognize the bird traits in other students at the camp. By the end of the camp what do you think would be their takeaway?
