Review:
Ezra and Roza love to run and play. Ezra likes to run fast while Roza times him. Unfortunately, his running gets him into big trouble with Mrs. Pirnazar while she was hanging the laundry. At home, it was time to start getting ready for Passover. Ezra and Roza must take the special flour for the matzah bread to the synagogue to bake. Of course, they run. When the bread was baked, again they ran towards home. Suddenly, Ezra falls and the matzah tumbles to the ground. Is their family Passover ruined?
This rambunctious tale of
Passover is a wonderful way to introduce young readers to Jewish celebrations. Easy
to read sentences along with colorful and lively illustrations makes this story
perfect for classroom reading or at home with the family. The back pages have a
glossary, recipe and even information about Passover and the Jews in Persia.
