Review:
Aria is a young girl with really big curly hair. She loves her hair and wears it in many different ways depending on her mood. The only problem that Aria has with her hair is that other people, strangers, love her hair too. They love it so much they always want to touch it. Not only does Aria get creative with her hair she now must be very creative in order to keep people from touching it. When is it time to say no don’t touch my hair?
Author
Sharee Miller has created a fun story of boundaries that young readers will
understand. Parents, teachers, and caregivers can use this as a tool to teach
respect and how to ask permission before getting in someone’s personal space. Bright-colored
illustrations depict the fun of getting away and how taking a stance to say no
can be gentle and respectful.
