Whoa

Review:
A little boy named Whoa has a great relationship with his dad. With the weather being cold, they would sit together drinking hot cocoa and watching the news. One particular night Whoa felt so sad because he saw tragedy, injustice, and cruelty on the television. That night he had an idea of how he could help fight against it.
With the martial arts skills he learned from the internet, Whoa and his dad packed lunch and scoured the streets for tragedy, injustice, and cruelty. It didn’t take long and Whoa was able to help feed a homeless man, save a kitten, and help a school friend get home safe from bullies.
Author Chris Corbett has created a story that will teach young readers kindness. With lively and colorful illustrations by Richardo Galvao, kids can see the main character in action. Parents and teachers can use this guide as a way to teach kindness and how everyday students can help defeat tragedy, injustice, and cruelty.
