When Julian was born, he was given a fuzzy white stuffed bear named Figgins. He and Figgins were inseparable. But as Julian grew his time spent with Figgins was less and less. It was then that Figgins realized, being the smart bear that he was, that he could find fun adventures all on his own. And he did. 

When Julian came home from school one day, he noticed Figgins was nowhere to be found. He started on a journey to find him. There was no way Julian could imagine what would lie ahead. What he found was lots of cats, a valley of oversized crayons, gardens of flowers that nudged him along a path, mazes and so much more. 

Author and illustrator Shayna Leib has created a lovely story of friendship and imagination. Young readers will go on this adventure and discover images that are vivid and filled with wonder. Each reader’s imagination will soar as they find little surprises throughout the pages. Parents, teachers, and caregivers can use this book as a tool to open dialogue for young readers to share stories about their favorite stuffed toys and what adventures they might have.
