Review:

Pedro the pirate values his independence and prefers to operate without a crew. He keeps his treasure hidden, sharing this secret only with his loyal pet dog, Parrot. One day, while sailing, a powerful wave capsized his ship, forcing him to abandon it. Upon reaching a nearby island, he found himself caught in a net and in need of assistance. Despite the offer of help from others, he declined, wishing to maintain his autonomy.

Later, during a watch, Pedro discovered a treasure chest. He attempted to move it and open the lid but was unsuccessful. When a different crew arrived, he shared the information about the treasure and requested their assistance. Together, they discovered an unexpected surprise inside the chest.

This engaging story of adventure and friendship serves as an excellent resource for children. The vibrant illustrations highlight the message that solitude is not always beneficial. Additionally, parents and educators can take advantage of the glossary of pirate terms and instructions for creating a treasure chest, making it a fun learning experience at home or in the classroom.
